Writing Classes (Grouped)
Personal feedback helps students improve quickly. Small classes (4:1) mean everyone gets personal attention.
We teach essays, short stories, narratives, literary response, and poetry. Areas covered include grammar, spelling, organization, handwriting, voice, vocabulary, and critical thinking. Students start with a writing sample. We point out strengths and next steps then explain the how and why. After practicing with feedback, students finish their assignments at home. Upon return, we repeat the process with their homework. We also teach SAT vocabulary and encourage reading from our library.
